DIYer CNC Marine Kit Collection
Over seven years ago, Guy began his boat-building journey when he purchased the 6500HTO kit. Fast forward to two years ago, Guy set his sights on another challenge: the 5500CC. He worked on it dedicating the last six months to perfecting every detail.
Guy has decided to add to his collection with an upcoming 4100EX build and a larger kit boat we are working with Guy to perfect. As an avid fisherman, he saw these project’s not just as a means to get out on the water, but as a hobby. Guy explained “I have more fun building them than using them”. Guy shared that he has completed all his builds in his back shed and enjoys collecting these boats and using them for different adventures.
With each boat, Guy’s skills improved. He did however decided to join the PurePlate in Newcastle- Boat Building course that took place this year, where he said he “Upskilled and furthered the knowledge he already had”.
