Perth Boat Show 2026
Last weekend was the Perth Boat Show, with Daniel, Liam and Marsh there supporting our builders throughout the event.
One of the highlights was the Bluedog Boats stand, where they had arguably some of the best boats at the show in this category.
All in all, it was a very successful trip, with plenty of good conversations, new connections and a lot of fun had by everyone involved.
While we were there, we made sure to enjoy some quality downtime, with a few dinners and more than a few beers with the crew.
On the far left is Jarrod, who will soon be the owner of a Bluedog-built 8010HT.
Here we have the Bluedog family. From left: Juene—Andre’s sister; Andre—the main man himself; Dani—the better half of the operation; Andy—Bluedog Senior; and Jane—the beautiful matriarch of the family, sitting proudly above them all.
It’s always special catching up with these guys. The love that keeps this family so close goes into every Bluedog boat that leaves the kennel.
Buying a boat from this family means investing in a product built with genuine Bluedog passion.
The show also marked the release of the Bluedog 550 Spearo—a Haines 17-inspired, forward-drive offshore vessel.
This craft attracted plenty of attention throughout the show. We’ve taken a well-known design philosophy and developed it into the ultimate offshore weapon.
The 550 Spearo is available through the Bluedog range, and we may release something similar of our own in the future.
We spoke with so many of you at our stand, including plenty of people looking to have boats built.
We were able to sit down, bring up your designs and work through different options and modifications on the spot. That’s always enjoyable for us, and seeing your excitement as the ideas come to life on screen never gets old.
We also had two 4210BAs on display—one partially built and one fully completed and fitted out. This allowed us to show exactly what goes into a CNC Marine vessel and explain the features that should be included in every well-built plate boat.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the brand-new 8400HT, built by Bluedog Boats.
We had a huge number of people comment on how well-appointed and well-priced the vessel was. I think Andre may have a few orders for this one coming his way.
