Based in Mackay, Queensland, Curt is the face behind Metal Fusion Marine, bringing a strong background in custom aluminium fabrication to every project he takes on. A qualified boilermaker by trade, Curt completed his apprenticeship at Mackay Aluminium Industries (MAI), where he worked across a wide range of custom jobs including boat modifications, fuel tanks, canopies, and pods. Boats have always been a big part of his life, making the move into plate boat building a natural next step. His first CNC Marine build was a 3700CT, which gave him a great introduction to the process, and he’s since taken on his next challenge with a 4210BA. With a hands-on approach and a passion for quality workmanship, Curt continues to grow Metal Fusion Mackay while building boats he’s genuinely proud of.
