CNC Marine Car Topper Tour 2019

December Tour Update!

CNC Marine- Building Your Boat/Life Balance

The tour of this magnificent country has been everything we wanted and more. CNC marine is a family business so taking the tribe around with us, while we showed off the 2800CT and chatted to boat builders around the country, has been a real privilege. If any of you get the opportunity to travel around yourself, even if only for a couple of months, find a way to make it happen as I am positive is something you or your family will never forget. We’re all about the boat-life balance here at CNC Marine and with so many incredible places around this beautiful country, it’s no surprise we all want to be out enjoying what it has to offer. We still have around 6 weeks to go on the tour and hope to be able to catch up with a few more of you over this time. Popping into various workshops has also allowed us the opportunity to see different setups and working out how we can help support you in creating or expanding your boat building businesses.

It’s too hard to have favourites, when every place is so unique, so some of the highlights so far have been:

Mataranka and Katherine, NT – Crystal clear natural springs surrounded by harsh outback – an incredible contrast of scenery and experiences.

Darwin, NT – A fantastic city with a laid-back vibe. Had the pleasure to chat to a few builders up here and feel we’ll be seeing more CNC boats in the NT in the future!

Litchfield National Park, NT – Lesser known then Kakadu, perhaps, but with the temperatures soaring, the waterfalls here were lifesaving

Lake Argyle, WA – Massive body of water, and we spent a great day out with Lake Argyle Cruises, who a boat designed by us. The high-speed tourist boat is now on its second owner and performing beautifully.

Broome, WA – Another cracking town with an amazing seaside atmosphere.

Dampier Peninsular / Cape Leveque, WA – Simply stunning. Run by some amazing people from the local communities, this area is one for the bucket list.

Exmouth, WA – Fishing, snorkelling on Ningaloo Reef, emus in the street and a cracking brewery – this place understands the boat-life balance we promote at CNC Marine.

Coral Bay, WA – Another reef-centric town that ticked all the boxes. Stunning beaches, manta rays, fishing and plenty of boating opportunities.

Shark Bay, WA – More remote and rugged beauty. Oysters off the rocks, kids catching whiting off the beach, boating in the 2800CT and camping off the side of the Ranger on a beach with no one in sight – absolute magic!

Jurien Bay, WA – Swimming with Australian Sea Lions was an absolute blast. Completely unexpected but these incredibly playful wild animals blew us away. If you’re in the area, head down to Turquoise Safaris and get out to see these amazing creatures.

Perth, WA – Perth was a stark contrast to the private beaches and open roads of the previous few months. Looks like some great boat-building is going on here and we’re excited about continuing to develop partnerships with more WA builders into the future.
